Beverage Lookup Mode
Step 1: Choose a beverage from the dropdown. Each option lists its standard serving size and caffeine content in milligrams — for example, Brewed Coffee (8 oz) shows 95 mg.
Step 2: Enter the number of servings you consumed. The result updates instantly, showing total caffeine, the percentage of both the 400 mg and 200 mg limits, and the equivalent number of 8 oz cups of brewed coffee.
Worked Example 1 — The morning commute: You grab a 16 oz brewed coffee from a café (two 8 oz servings), then an espresso shot at 10 am. Lookup gives 190 mg for the coffee and 63 mg for the espresso. Your total so far is 253 mg — 63% of the adult daily limit, and already above the 200 mg pregnancy ceiling. Daily Total Mode

Total caffeine in a serving:

Total daily intake:

1. Know your cup, not your "cup". The 95 mg figure assumes an 8 oz serving of brewed coffee.
